Release Notes für Software 3.4.0RC1 für ECoS 50200 / ECoS 50000 / Central Station Reloaded ========================================================================================== PLEASE NOTE: This version is a BETA version of the ECoS software 3.4.0 and may not be as stable as an actual relase version. Use this software at your own risk! With this version the new RailComPlus® functionallity can be used with LokSound V4.0 and LokPilot V4.0-Dekodern for the first time. An update of the decoder firmware with the LokProgrammer Software 4.1.2 is needed to use this feature. The RailComPlus-functionality can be enabled via "Setup"-"Track signals". Whenever a RailComPlus capable loco is detected, the sign-up process is displayed by a progress bar. If the DCC address of the new loco is already assigned to an other loco in the ECoS, a popup-window to select the loco's address will appear. If the address is not assigned to any other loco, the new loco will keep its address. The loco's name, symbol and function symbols will be stored on the decoder upon change. These data may be edited with either the ECoS or the LokProgrammer. Furthermore, the following issues have been changed in comparison to software 3.3.3.: -ADD: Support for all decoders of the V4.0-family. The function mapping is similar to the LokProgrammers. -ADD: The last switchnboard tab is now stored. -ADD: New button "Delete all autoregisterd DCC locos" in "Setup 2"-"Locos and Consists": All locos registered with RailComPlus will be deleted. -ADD: Firmware version in backup-filename. -ADD: Loco functions up to F21. -ADD: Additional function icons (Sand, pressure air, ..). -ADD: Distant signal symbols (Switchboard, track layout). -ADD: s88-Monitor: Feedback ports displayed with numbers. -ADD: Setup: Selectrix programming -ADD: "Setup"-"Loco search": A single loco (M4/RailComPlus) may be detected on the programming track. In the past there have been reports of M4 locos which disappear in braking sections or currentless sections when deleting any other loco. From now on, M4 locos will only register in this case if an M4 loco is deleted. If a loco is lost and will not be detected any more, this new functionallity will fix the problem. -ADD: Control knob calibration: Press F3+F6 (ECoS 50200) or accordingly F2+F5 (ECoS 50000) on BOTH sides. In the follwing screen, the zero an maximum position can be adjusted. -BUGFIX: LokSound3.5 MTC AUX3 und AUX4 in function mapping. -BUGFIX: Web interface: Firmware update: "Send" button is not working on english page. -BUGFIX: Programming functions in the "Loco edit"-"Advanced" menu have been worked over. -BUGFIX: Error in english keyboard layout ("[" und ";"-Key) -BUGFIX: Spelling error splash screen. -BUGFIX: Railcom feedback in switch board: symbol dissapears. -BUGFIX: Portugese texts: Wrong state texts with signals/semaphores. -BUGFIX: Layout: Highlight symbol "Station" (ECoS 50000/CS Reloaded). -BUGFIX: Webinterface: Loco list Excel-Download: Sniffer address wrong. -BUGFIX: Switchboard: Labels displaced (ECoS 50200). -BUGFIX: Backups with many loco images are not transferred correctly to the PC when storing a configuration. -BUGFIX: Sorting algorithm (loco lists, accessory lists): symbols and umlauts are sorted wrong. -BUGFIX: Edit loco: When selection the "Live"-mode, values that have been already changed are now written. In the previous tests there have been reports that some older Motorola decoders misinterpret the ReilComPlus signal and start to move at low speed. Yet we were not able to observe this problem by ourselves. If this effect should occur, we would welcome any reports on what decoders are affected. Also, problems with some older external boosters have been reported. This phenomenon is characterised by a detection progress bar which remains in the first state. We are also grateful about reports, which boosters this issue occurs with.
